Since joining Westwind in 1998, Brian has been involved with virtually every department within Westwind. Brian started with processing payments and administrative work while attending college full time. He was promoted to second-in-command of the accounting department and eventually became an Association Business Manager. Brian obtained his Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA®) designation in June 2000 and his Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®) designation though the Community Associations Institute in 2006. The PCAM® designation is the highest designation obtainable in the industry. Brian has also earned his AMS® (Association Management Specialist) credential. In 2010, Brian joined our executive team to help to establish the foundation for our Company’s future.

In 2011, we were honored and proud that he was elected President of the Rocky Mountain Chapter of the Community Associations Institute after serving on the Board for a number of years. Serving in these extremely critical positions, Brian very actively and successfully improved our local chapter over a 5+ year period.

Brian has also accepted the responsibilities of our Human Resources Department and all of the changing laws and regulations we see these days. He continues to be instrumental in improving service and efficiencies within the communities we manage and he continues to provide the best in exceptional client service.

We were proud to promote Brian to be our Chief Financial Officer in 2013. As our CFO, Brian has been responsible for setting the standards that promote and ensure the accuracy and checks and balances of our accounting department; standards that are so necessary and important for Clients in our business. As of July 1, 2016, Brian is our Chief Executive Officer, CEO.

Originally from the great state of Kentucky, Chris has added southern charm, poise, enthusiasm and her high level of professionalism to the Westwind team since 2001. She earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from Purdue University in Hospitality & Institutional Management and a minor in foreign languages (German and Spanish). Chris spent over ten years in the hotel management industry, in guest services and housekeeping, as well as serving as District Manager of Operations for a national extended-stay organization. Chris is focused on customer service that exceeds expectations and her very qualified experience and educational accomplishments reflect her desire to excel.

We were thrilled to see Chris easily obtain her CMCA® designation in early 2001 and her PCAM® designation in 2012. Chris has also served our industry on the Colorado Legislative Action Committee, several CAI-Rocky Mountain Chapter sub-committees as well as a volunteer for several charitable organizations. She was nominated and received a Manager of the Year award in 2012, finishing as one of the Top 50 portfolio managers in the nation.

She has been involved in the executive-level direction of our firm’s future since 2010, and at the end of 2014, Chris was promoted to Chief Operating Officer. After providing incredible service to our clients as an Association Business Manager for 14 years, she now focuses directly on managing our operational and support services, specifically mentoring and developing our association management team. Since 1986, Candice has gained experience in each aspect of our accounting department operations as well as client services. Beginning in 2014, she has served as our Controller. Jessica joined the Westwind team in 2001 as an Community Administrator. After being promoted to an Association Business Manager approximately one year later, she worked for the next 13 years managing a wide variety of portfolio clients throughout her tenure and has become well-versed in the intricacies of community association management, leadership and best practices. First becoming a CMCA® certified professional, Jessica then went on to earn both the Association Management Specialist (AMS®) and Professional Community Association Manager (PCAM®) designations through the Community Associations Institute in 2011. The PCAM® is the highest level international credential which may be obtained in the Association Management industry.

Jessica’s passion for the industry has been obvious in her approach to trade-specific challenges such as document review, construction defect project management, financial oversight and budgeting, board education and conflict resolution. One of Jessica’s last projects included successfully working through a massive, multi-year, 15 million dollar reconstruction program with one of her client communities.

In the fall of 2015, we were pleased and proud to transition Jessica from her many years of service as an Association Business Manager, responsible for direct portfolio management, into the new and vital role of Executive Assistant to the CEO, COO, and CFO. Recently, we have updated her title to Director of Administration and Client Services as her roles and responsibilities have continued to expand. Joining the Westwind team in 2005, Jesse brought passion, discipline, and organization to our Information Technology functions. With a Bachelor of Science in Network Engineering and several Cisco and Microsoft certifications, he transformed the company’s infrastructure. Enterprise-grade equipment, security, and processes became standard practice. In an ever-evolving technology landscape, Jesse maintains focus on evaluation and implementation of tools, systems, and services for our clients, vendors, and employees.

While working from Network Administrator to Director of IT, Jesse also became a member of our Executive Team. Bethany grew up in the Bay Area and earned her bachelor’s degree in Neurobiology, Physiology & Behavior from UC Davis. In 2006 she moved to Colorado where she met her husband and discovered her love of numbers & passion for helping others understand them, as well. She started her career in the industry as a Property Manager and has been steadily climbing the accounting ladder ever since. With over 13 years of experience in Accounting, Bethany has been serving the financial needs of Denver, Colorado Springs, & Fort Collins area Homeowner Associations for the past 5 years. She received her CMCA® designation and Community Association Manager (CAM) license from the State of Colorado in 2016 in order to better understand the Community Manager mind-set. This has helped immensely when working closely with Community Managers and their board members to answer financial questions.

Bethany joined the Westwind team in July of 2019 as our Assistant Controller. She works closely with the firm’s Controller to prepare the monthly client financial statements and answer Board accounting questions. She works with the Accounting Representatives to create a fun environment and a cohesive balance between AP and AR. Her enthusiasm for learning processes and generating efficiency is a great asset to the team.

Kyle Maring has served in just about every facet of the multi-family industry. Kyle was a successful community association manager for 2+ years at Westwind from 2013-2015 and returned in this role in 2018. As a fully credentialed Association Business Manager, Maring obtained his CMCA®, and CAM designations. Kyle also has a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology with a Business Management minor from Metropolitan State University of Denver. His affinity for customer service and relationship-building skills allowed him to be proactive in his management approach. He also served for a time as a Business Development Director in the industry, which responsibilities included not only business development procedures for the Colorado region but also had a hand in growth, expansion, and onboarding of new clients. During this phase of his career, he also gained the experience of overseeing the in house maintenance team, including oversight for general repairs, preventative maintenance, and large projects. Kyle expanded his industry experience from the vendor perspective by serving as an Account Manager and Business Development Representative for industry partners, including in construction and temporary corporate housing.

Liana Way joined the Westwind Management Team in September 2019. She was born and raised in Colorado; growing up in the San Luis Valley. After graduating from Adams State (College) University she moved to Denver 2002 and starting working in the HOA Industry. Liana has been in the industry for 17 years starting in the Client Service Department; where she provided exceptional assistance for homeowners, Board Members and began building relationships with vendors. Based on her quality service to both internal and external customers, Liana earned an opportunity to supervise a support team to the Community Managers. Mark joined the Westwind team in 2022. He brings a wide and varied background from engineering - building and managing broadcast stations, to education as an instructor and administrator, as well as in property management. His exceptional abilities in relationship-building and customer service focus were evident in his management of senior-living and multi-family communities from 55 to 300 units. He most enjoys the relationships formed with clients, residents, vendors, and boards. Being an Excel “guru”, he naturally enjoys budgets and reporting but loves to roll up his sleeves and tackle some fun capital projects – especially a remodel or facelift. After being active with his own condominium HOA, Mark decided to make this his career.

Mark grew up in Wisconsin and has lived on both coasts and finally made Colorado his home in the mid-90s. As a dedicated and life-long learner, he went back to school, earning a 21st century MBA, a Colorado ALR Administrator license, and is continually seeking classes and certifications to stay current with industry knowledge and improve in his personal and professional growth. Mark loves being in the mountains any time of year camping, biking, or snowshoeing and grilling for his family most weekends.

Christine Williams, who is a highly experienced and credentialed manager, joined the Westwind professional family in early 2017. She has over 20+ years’ experience in the property and association management industry, and began her career as an assistant on-site manager for an apartment complex in Oregon. Through that position, she quickly learned the ropes and moved up to full duty manager positions within the same company. Christine was introduced to the HOA industry after relocating to California. At that time, she was working with a company that also focused on continuing education, so was afforded an opportunity to earn both her CMCA and AMS credentials through CAI during her 8 year tenure there. She has since added the Colorado CAM license to her credentials. Christine recognizes how fortunate she has been to build relationships with all the wonderful and knowledgeable people who have mentored her over the years, and has used her abilities to successfully manage all types of communities from condos and townhomes to single family homes and commercial HOAs. Cylinda has been serving the community association industry since 2004. Originally from Texas, Cylinda moved to Colorado in 2007 to continue managing associations. Her industry achievements include her CMCA , AMS, and PCAM designations from the Community Associations Institute. Originally from Argentina, Julie has been in the hospitality and property management industry since 2002. Throughout her career, she has managed multi-family and Section 42 LIHTC communities, vacation rentals, commercial properties and homeowner associations in four different states. Her legal background has also developed Julie’s attention to detail, and thorough communication in covenant enforcement, which have made her a valuable asset to the teams she has collaborated with. She has been in leadership roles in the past as she has a passion for service to her fellow colleagues and direct reports. Her relationship building skills have provided her with tools to build long-lasting relationships with Boards of Directors, business partners and peers throughout the years.

She is a proud member of CAI and has earned the CMCA (Certified Manager of Community Associations) as well as her AMS certification, which is the Association Management Specialist level. Julie recently joined the CAI Wellness Task Force, where she collaborates with other leaders in the industry to provide opportunities and resources to managers in the state of Colorado to manage life-work balance. Joseph graduated from Colorado State University in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management and has been working in the hospitality industry for the past 5 years. He is a well-organized, thoughtful, hard worker, with some of that key experience gained while working as a front desk supervisor for a hotel. Joseph joined the Westwind professional family in 2022, bringing his 5+ years of exceptional customer service background in the hospitality industry with him. He is now using his organizational and communication skills, coupled with his solid work ethic to benefit our client communities.

Joseph moved to Colorado in 2007 from Hawaii, and truly enjoys taking in the scenery Colorado has to offer, including mountain views and experiencing the snow. He thrives by getting outside and going on hikes with his dog and girlfriend, playing and watching sports with friends, and watching movies when it gets too cold.

Kiefer has lived in northern Colorado since 2007 and enjoys the music scene and many water features available here. In 2015 she happened upon the community management industry. She started her career in a front-line service provider role and quickly grew to appreciate the many facets and opportunities in association management. While she’s worn many hats, from call center supervisor to association manager, Kiefer's favorite role has been as a trainer. This led her to expand her skills as a facilitator and trainer on the management software side, where she was able to provide exceptional service and responsiveness to companies around the country, helping them navigate different situations they encountered with the program. Kiefer joined Westwind in 2022 and is excited to be with the Team! She brings invaluable skills and insight, as well as a winning personality to our Ft. Collins branch office as Community Administrator and Office Assistant. While not at work, she enjoys playing with her two cats, and traveling.

Nicole joined the Westwind team in 2021, bringing with her 17 years of exceptional customer service experience, and most recently, project coordination experience in the restoration industry. She is a diligent and detailed worker, having owned and operated her own cleaning business for 5 years, as well. She is attentive and responsive to her clients’ needs and finds a way to get things done! Nicole is friendly and sociable, and really loves event planning. She recently became a mommy by adoption and in order to be her best for all those in her life, she is always trying to grow and become a better version of herself.

In 2013 we were privileged to have Anais join our business family. She learns at the speed of light, is a great multi-tasker and enjoys receiving new responsibilities. In December 2014, Anais received her bachelor’s degree from Metropolitan State University of Denver in Hospitality with an emphasis in Tourism and Events Management. Anais is a native of New York but loves living in Colorado. Anais loves to spend time with her family and friends, enjoys concerts, dancing, planning events, traveling and discovering new adventures.

DeEtt is a Colorado native; born in Denver but then her family moved to a small Colorado town near the Kansas boarder. After college, and in search of some additional professional growth opportunities, DeEtt moved to the Denver metro area. She comes to the Westwind team with several years of customer service experience in real estate related work and in the senior living industry. In particular, she has contributed almost 20 years’ of dedicated, quality service in the real estate arena. Plus, working in the senior living industry provided for experiences which led to her overall growth in both work and in life. DeEtt maintains a heart for these folks after working with them and that background feeds her service-first and caring disposition. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children.

Gabrielle is originally from Louisiana, moved to Colorado back in 2005 and enjoys the great outdoors and all the Rocky Mountains have to offer. With her love for wildlife photography, getting up and personal with Moose, to off trailing in the forest, she also enjoys being a mom to someone just as adventurous as herself!

Joining the Westwind Management team in 2022, coming from a previous career of Medical Revenue Cycle Management and accounting. What makes her a great asset is her drive and passion to serve others, bringing compassion and innovation, not just to the team, but to everyone she encounters; her goal is to be impactful. Along with having a bright, ambitious personality, Gabrielle is passionate about her own professional development, learning new skills that will not only help her, but the Organization succeed and contribute to the ongoing growth and success of Westwind.

Sierra became a part of the Westwind family in 2022. She has superior skills in both customer service and accounting, as well as prior experience in the HOA industry. She is a great addition to the team. Before launching her career in accounting, Sierra worked in the ski industry, providing exceptional customer service in her roles. She wanted to try something new, so she decided to leave the ski industry to pursue a career in accounting and is currently working to obtain her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Metropolitan State University of Denver.

Sierra is a Colorado native, and she takes full advantage of everything our incredible state has to offer. Sierra loves to stay active, whether it be running, longboarding, snowboarding, or going on a twelve-mile hike at Green Mountain. Sierra’s passion is snowboarding, so during the winter, you can always find her shredding the slopes.

In 2021, Andrea came to us with 17 years of experience in customer service, plus an Associate’s degree with certifications in Medical Billing/Office Administration from Arapahoe Community College. In her community services-focused role at Westwind Management, Andrea looks to expand her already highly qualified skill set and reinforce her demonstrated talent for strong attention to detail and excellence in both communication and customer service.

Andrea and her husband are both Colorado natives, and have raised 4 wonderful children. Andrea enjoys decorating her home as well as spending time in Estes Park with her family.

Darlyne has lived in Denver her entire life, along with her 5 siblings. She comes to Westwind Management with prior experience in retail, and while the community association management industry is very different, she likes the controlled and steady pace of her work area responsibilities. She is an avid learner and excited to continue to learn new skills. She is a detail oriented and organized person, who is great at multi-tasking. In addition, Darlyne is very open-minded, which allows her to generate positive and creative ideas. When not at work, she loves spending time with her family and baking. Another passion is travel, and she cannot wait to travel the world.

Amy is a Denver native, and a graduate of Iowa State University with a degree in Hospitality Management. She worked in the Hotel / Convention / Meetings industry for many years in Denver, Tacoma WA, Burbank CA, Palm Springs CA and then returned to Denver. Amy served as the Convention Housing Manager at Visit Denver for over 20 years, at which time in 2016 she made a career move and started working in the HOA industry. She was responsible for accounts receivable, client account research and response, as well as working with her team of community association managers on accounting needs for homeowners. In 2020, we were pleased to welcome Amy to the Westwind Team. She has exceptional organizational skills and is both detailed and proficient in her workflow processes. We are thrilled to have someone with her strong work ethic and quality-driven customer service outlook as a part of the team. Amy is a proud dog lover, homeowner, DIY’er, plus an avid Denver Broncos and Iowa State Cyclones Football Fan. She enjoys gardening, (even mowing the lawn!) and building things.

She was raised in Colorado and attended Colorado State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Emily spent several years following her time at CSU working with children, particularly children with special needs. Emily reflects both high quality service and sets high standards in her approach to both in her personal and professional life and has a knack for problem solving. In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time outdoors, going on adventures with her nieces and nephew and leaning into her creative side.

Prior to her 2003 arrival at Westwind, Lynnette honed her accounting skills and knowledge with 8 years in the accounting industry. After her 2 year introduction into Westwind Client services, she moved to our team accounting division to provide that same exceptional level of care.

Growing up in Pueblo, Lynnette developed a real small town attitude about service to clients and now the clients in her purview enjoy that special added follow-up and care that permeates through all of our Westwind Staff. She assures a responsive answer to urgent issues and always takes a proactive “can do” approach to all of the challenges she receives on a daily basis. Due to her continued accomplishments, Lynnette was promoted to our Closing Services Administrator and we are thrilled with the great job she is doing in that position.
